Welcome to the Muni University taskforce official website. A team of three persons was identified and appointed by the Minister of State for Higher Education (Hon. Mwesigwa Rukutana) in December 2009.
I am glad to inform you our esteemed stakeholders that my team is extremely grateful to the Government of the Republic of Uganda through His Excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the President, for this vision of establishing a public university in West Nile region.
The proposed Muni University will no doubt address the needs and aspirations of the communities in the region and the country at large. We pledge our total commitment to achieving and implementing this project.
I call upon you for cooperation and support in this noble cause in nurturing and building a sustainable institution.
