National Council for Higher Education Visits Muni University

A team from the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), led by the Executive Director, Professor A.B.K Kasoozi, visited Muni University Taskforce April 23, 2012 to monitor Muni University's progress with regards to its opening for teaching and learning activities. During the visit, the team held discussions with the taskforce as well as the staff. They also toured the taskforce offices and the Muni University construction site. The NCHE team was impressed by the progress made by the Taskforce to-date, and commended the taskforce for its efforts.

African Development Bank - ADB V Project

The Muni University Taskforce hosted a team from the African Development Bank (ADB) on April 7, 2012 at its Head Office in Arua. The ADB team, led by Dr. Jason Mochache, Chief Education Specialist and Architect, were on an appraisal mission for the Support to Higher Education Science and Technology (HEST) project. The HEST project aims to produce more skills in science and technology to respond to increased demand from the labor market, and promoting the development of a knowledge-based economy. The ADB team held discussions with the Muni University Taskforce and members of staff, and visited the Muni University construction site.
