Stanbic Bank Donates Computers to Muni University [Posted on 29th March 2013]
Stanbic Bank (Uganda) donated 20 brand new computers to Muni University. The computers were handed over to Muni University by Mr. Douglas Kamwendo, the Head of Personal and Business Banking, Stanbic Bank, at the Muni University Taskforce Head Office in Arua on March 15, 2013. Other Stanbic Bank officials present included Mr. Tony Otim (Regional Manager, West Nile) and Mr. Christopher Otim (Manager, Arua). Mr. Kamwendo and Mr. Otim both thanked Muni University for partnering with Stanbic Bank, and hoped the partnership would continue to grow.
Prof. Christine Dranzoa received the computers on behalf of Muni University, and appreciated the philanthropic gesture from Stanbic Bank. The computers will be used for teaching and learning in the Faculty of Technoscience.
