Ms. Maureen Norah Nabulime is an Assistant Lecturer and Acting Head of the Department for Environmental Sciences. Maureen obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University, Kampala. Her master’s studies focused on Agricultural and Environmental engineering studies. She has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Busitema University and Bukalasa Agricultural College. She also worked with Eco-Agric Uganda in disseminating applied on-farm irrigation, water harvesting and waste utilization technologies to improve agricultural production.

Her research interests include; land and water resources management as they pertain to irrigated agriculture and environmental stewardship, hydrology, hydrometeorology, climate change and solid waste management. She desires to focus her PhD research on crop models and remote sensing for agricultural water management or biological systems to produce renewable energy.
