Mr. Solomon Odur is a Laboratory technician in the Department of Animal Science. Solomon holds Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science Education and Industry from Makerere University, Kampala. He also has certificates in other short-courses in microbiological techniques, microbiome metagenomics, Molecular biology and Biotechnology, Data Analysis and Advance Epidemiology.
Solomon has experience in Microbiological techniques (Isolation and Enumeration of Microorganisms, Staining Techniques, culture and sensitivity), Developing Lab SOPs and Data analysis acquired while working with Veterinary Microbiology Research Laboratory (VMRL), Makerere University.
His research interests include; One health research, Environmental and Food safety research and public Health Research.
