Mr. Akena Geoffrey Oyoo is an Assistant lecturer of Economics in Department of Economics.
He holds a Master of Arts in Economics degree of Makerere University and Bachelor of science in Education (Mathematics/ Economics), Gulu University.
He also had a special training in Econometric practice and Theory, and Monetary Economics (Joint facility for Electives) in Arusha, Tanzania in 2015, the programme of the African Economics Research Consortium. He has over ten years of teaching experience both at secondary schools and the Universities.
His research interest is majorly in the field of Macroeconomics.
His major research goal is to see policies especially at national level taken or implemented basing on empirical evidences other than discretion.
