Mr. Athananthius Mugyenyi is a Laboratory Technician of Physics. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Technology- Physics from Kyambogo University and a Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology- Physics from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. He has trained with the Defense Threat Reduction of America in areas of Good Laboratory Practices and Equipment handling, Biosafety and Biosecurity. Before joining Muni University in 2019, Mr. Mugyenyi was a Laboratory Technician at the National Livestock Resources Research Institute (2012-2019). He has over 11 years’ experience of working in universities as Laboratory Technician. He had earlier worked as a Laboratory Technician at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (2005-2008), and the Islamic University in Uganda (2011-2012). On top of installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment Mr. Mugyenyi has conducted several Physics practical sessions with students.
