Mr. Mwebesa Edson is an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Mathematics. He holds a Master of Biostatistics of Makerere University (1st ever graduate of M Biostatistics), an MSc Statistics and BSc Education (Math Major). He is a registered member of Uganda Statistics Society (USS) and International Biometric Society (IBC), a DELTAS Africa – SSACAB Scholar and a registered teacher by Ministry of Education and Sports. He has a teaching experience of 12 years in both national and international schools including the Universities. His research interests are in public health especially disease modeling, maternal and child health issues, predictive modeling, and Data science among others. He has collaborated with Infectious Disease Institute (IDI), Uganda on different studies as their study statistician.
