Mr. Denis C. Akwar is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Media Studies. He has Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Sam Houston State University (Texas - United States) and Bachelor of Teacher Education from Kyambogo University (Kampala - Uganda). He is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Education (Instructional Systems Design and Technology) program at Sam Houston State University (United States).
Denis has teaching experience of over 19 years as a classroom teacher and teacher educator. Before joining Muni University in January 2020, he was offering technical support to Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports in implementing Teacher Training Education Project as a National Pedagogy Officer with Enabel, Belgian development agency, and Education Advisor (VVOB, Education for development).
