Dr. Joyce Bukirwa Rebecca Sessanga is a Ugandan Educational Psychologist, Counsellor and a Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology with a vast experience and a great passion to improve the processes of teaching and learning. She holds a PhD in Education (Educational Psychology) from Nkumba University, a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Makerere University, a Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi,and a Bachelor of Science with Education (Chemistry and Mathematics) from Makerere University. Currently, she is the Dean of Faculty of Education at Muni University where one of her cardinal roles is to supervise teaching and learning in the Faculty of Education. Dr.Bukirwa is also a researcher and a research supervisor as well as External Examiner of research theses for both Masters and PhD levels.
Her publications mainly focus on improving the processes of teaching and learning. She has delivered several papers in conferences and workshops in the field of education psychology and counselling.
