Dr. Paul Edabu is a Senior Lecturer and Acting Head of the Department of Curriculum and Media Studies in the Faculty of Education. He has over 18 years of experience in teaching, administration and supervision of postgraduate students from different Universities in East Africa. Between 2012 and 2018 he lectured at Mount Kenya University where he was Director University Examinations for five (5) years and Deputy Director Postgraduate Studies for three years. Between 2010 and 2012 he lectured at Kenya Methodist University. Between 2006 and 2012 he lectured at Kampala International University, where he served as Deputy Director Human Resource in-charge of Academic Staff and Coordinator Postgraduate Studies- Nairobi campus. He has commendably taught courses at Postgraduate and undergraduate programs. He has successfully supervised over seven PhD students and twenty-seven master students. He has also participated in different university committees including the Educational Association in Kenya. He is currently an examiner at Mount Kenya University. Dr.Edabu has presented and attended several international and local conferences.  He has also participated in community service through corporate social responsibility in educating inmates, school practice and talk shows in different schools in Kenya and Uganda. He is currently involved in writing fundable proposals, academic research, teaching, supervising and developing curricula in the Faculty of Education. His current research interests lie in areas of Leadership, Educational Planning, Management of Educational Institutions, Monitoring and Evaluation, Gender mainstreaming and Curriculum Studies.

Dr. Edabu obtained his PhD in Management Science (Educational Planning and Management) from Kampala International University, Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute, Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Uganda Management Institute, Master of Education in Religious Studies and Bachelor of Arts with Education from Kampala International University.
